This is a scanned and edited drawing of the base of our group structure model. The longer shapes are a system of mounds, the larger one being 3 stories and the other 2 stories. The center circle is a 6 story tower, with a 2 story atrium, 3 story greenhouse, and 1 story apt. floor.
Still working and should have a pic of our pro. structural model pretty soon.

I really enjoy your project so far! Going underground and mounding it makes your project really stick out from everyone else.
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice pay attention to this in your model, but this drawing brings one some questions. Do the two mounds meet each other at the center at the same height? Is there a small piece between them that brings light in? I could see the strip down the middle serving as a circulation space that is showered with natural light from glass roof (or something of the sort). But I like the way your guys project is taking shape.
