Ice Shack Final Product

So, this is my ice shack! This is what I would want if I were to sit on the ice for hours. I could have gone a more simple route without all the entertainment equipment, but I think I would get bored out there. I have only been ice fishing once with no house for cover, so I didn't really know what I would want. It would surely be possible to make a less complex model with all seating and maybe a stereo.

Hope someone out there likes it!

  1. I think it would be better off to just put a hitch on this one... Make the moving process a lot less stressful, but other than that sounds comfortable!

  2. It is great that you thought about the materials that you were going to use! The weight of the whole thing is a load, but you know that. It is nice now that we can just design architecture as we learn.

  3. Aaron,

I think even the first class could enjoy ice fishing in this shack! Keep thinking about the sustainable values in future designs. The detailed edges on your ice shack are marvelous. You could try to align the top of the text, picture, and floor plan with each other and separate the two pictures on the left. Right now they sort of get lost together. Looks great though!

  4. I'd like to fish in this shack... I know I'd be very comfortable. It'd be interesting to see, though, if somehow you could make it just as "first class" or "comfy" with materials that would decrease the shack's weight. I know material technology is constantly changing... there might be something new that could be of great use to you... if you're into that...
